CVCCS

Our Mission

In keeping with Christ’s teachings, Conestoga Valley Christian Community Services works to meet the various needs of our homeless, at-risk, and socially isolated neighbors by providing food and clothing, mentoring/tutoring, and financial counseling. We also provide our clients access to established social service providers in an effort to sustainably improve their standard of living. We will fulfill this mission with integrity and credibility while protecting the dignity of those we serve without discrimination.

History

In 2010, the Conestoga Valley Ministerium (a coalition of local pastors) created Conestoga Valley Christian Community Services to consolidate food and clothing banks housed in various churches. In 2014, CVCCS moved into the Lapp Electric building to offer a one-stop shop for food and clothing, and to provide access to established social services.

CVCCS continues to assess the needs of our community and seeks to add services that benefit the people we serve.
